Review & Un-Boxing: Case-Mate Tough Case - Samsung Galaxy S2

Well take a look at where my video has appeared...

One of my first video's has made it's way onto MobileFun.co.uk and if you're wondering what that is... it's the perfect place to buy your mobile accessories for your Smartphone, Kindle, iPad and more!

Although I had submitted my video back in November, I didn't expect it to be added to the site. And since then it's helped my video to reach more than 2,000 hits!

It now sits proudly beside the MobileFun's very own video review.

Mine, of course provides an unbiased and first hand user opinion, before you dig deep into your pockets.

And yes, I aim to please - so click here to watch it on the MobileFun page.

Case-Mate Tough Case - Samsung Galaxy S2

And if you can't be arsed to watch the clip, I'll give you the quick low down here...

What is it?

Phones these days are no longer made like tanks. And therefore, if you own a smartphone: Blackberry, iPhone or Android you'll want to protect your precious with a CASE. No matter how beautiful your device, it seem's the world feels the urge to wrap it up in rubber!

Case-Mate is a leader in these cases and I've picked up the Tough Case for my Samsung Galaxy S2.

So what's so special about this?

It looks great, feels strong and comes in 2 parts. A soft rubber inside to reduce any shock from falls & knocks and a tough plastic outer case, which is textured to provide grip. And if you own a Galaxy S2 you'll know that its extremely thin, but wide and therefore grip is something it lacks. So this sort of case is welcomed with open arms.

A note of caution

This is my second Case-Mate I've owned and I've noticed, the rubber material does have a tendency to catch dust. On the Case-Mate Safe Skin, this material made up the whole case and turned the phone into a portable dust magnet.

However on the Tough Case, it forms the inside and is only exposed a little around the edge of the screen. A handy tip is to wipe it off with a damp cloth, or even with just your finger - so really no big deal here.

Verdict

So therefore, if you have the Galaxy S2 and you think it needs protecting and don't mind paying a little extra - Buy it.
