Time for an audio upgrade!

For a while now I've been trying to avoid breaking the bank for a pair of premium headphones. But surely enough, my resolve has been broken and I went out hunting for a Beats by Dr Dre - yep those things that every young person seems to have wrapped around their heads on the bus and train. I didn't want to flatten my hair with a over the head pair. So my clear choice of headphone type was an in ear.

Well, now you can.

Youtube, as with most other big sites now monitor your internet usage. This is so that they can target their services better to suit your interests. Unfortunately, this could also mean you clicking on one or two "weird and wonderful" video's could mean forever having these types of clips showing up on the side as suggested viewing!

I've needed a well deserved upgrade from my Logitech QuickCam 4000 which has been sitting on my desk for nearly a decade...

I went for this, the Microsoft LifeCam Studio. It happened to be the highest spec webcam they sold even though it had been released in early 2011 in the UK. It currently retails for £89.99 - but if you look in the right places (as I did) and you can pick it up for a bargain at£45 (Amazon).

The Luis Suárez Racism Saga

So where are we now? 

New Year’s eve was used to publish an FA Commissioned Report, which laid out the reasons for the 24 year old Liverpool striker, Luis Suárez being banned for 8 matches and receiving a £40,000 fine.

It seemed to have gone on forever, with LFC’s continued defence of Suárez, Man Utd keeping very quiet and (most) football fans & the media wanting strong action – this has been one of the most sensitive of situations for the FA to sort out in recent history.

Morning Guys & Girls - It's YouTube Time!

As well as Blogging, I've also wanted to make a few videos - for online reviews and guides. Partly, because it looks like  fun and I could become famous online. And partly, because I think I've accumulated enough knowledge about today's technology that it would benefit my readers and viewers.

It started when I bought my Samsung Galaxy S2 - I produced an "un-boxing" video. Since then I have created THREE videos. Yep, 3 big ones. They're slowly improving and can be found on the YouTube Channel.
